For years we provided rescue services however due to the schedule and financial changes for our directors we are no longer able to provide more than networking and education programs.

Check out the event calendar on the right for local events that are horse related!

    Hello,
I just found your website today. I have been looking for a horse that my daughter will be able to ride. My problem is that I am in nursing school and cant afford that much of a lump sum. I had horses almost all my life and when going to college I had to sale them. I just happen to see Patrick and Beauty! Didnt know if they would be anything i was looking for?! I have a beautiful place for them to be, lots of room to run, big barn and lost of pasture. Most importantly My five yr old daughter, and along with the rest of family would love them so much. Please email me soon!
    Thank You,
    Stephanie

      Stephanie,
Patrick is a super LOVE bug however due to his age he is not broke to ride yet. But I see him being a wonderful little kids pony. Another to consider would be Lady the AQHA mare that is only 14.1 so considered a large pony but still big enough adults can ride. She has been ridden bareback once and under saddle once without issue so far. So both would be good ones that I have in to consider. Beauty while is stunning a child could NOT handle her :( You would be welcome to call and speak to me directly at 740-973-8901.
      Thanks for your interested,
      Lisa

I saw a little female yorkie listed on Craigslist that is up for adoption at your center and I wondered if she is still available. The listing said she is about 5-6 years old. Please let me know if you still have her so I can come and meet her.
    Thank you,
    Peggy Ball

    • avatar Lisa says:

      Hello Peggy :)
Yes Skiddles is still available, probably some of that due to me missing a few responses due to my overwhelming schedule :( She is 5/6 yrs old, has been vetted (needed some major dental help but is all healed and heathly now). I’d love to discuss her further so would recommend giving me a call at 740-973-8901. That is my cell number and I can tell you all about her :)
      Take care,

I saw that you have a AQHA Palomino mare, “Gemma”, listed on Craigslist. Can you let me know if she is available? I am looking for a registered quarterhorse for myself! Thanks! :)

    • avatar Lisa says:

Yes currently Gemma is available, I’ve had a great response to the Craigslist ad however because she is unbroke we have to take into account if you either have the ability to train yourself or the funds and/or trainer lined up to work with her for under saddle stuff. She is coming along wonderfully with ground (very easy to handle).

    Hello,

I am friends with Kristen and we noticed that Dream is up for adaption. Our friend is looking for a very young horse and they would like to come out and look at her asap. She told me that you would want them to look at her first and go over adaption process. They will board Dream with us – we run a boarding stable in Canal Winchester and are looking to move her to her to home by the weekend. Please contact me as soon as you can by email or by phone 740-248-3151. Thank you so much for all you do for these horses!!!

I’ve been absent for a while, but now I remember why I used to love this site. Thank you, I’ll try and check back more often. How frequently you update your site?

  7. I’m really impressed with your writing skills as well as with the layout on your blog. Is this a paid theme or did you customize it yourself? Either way keep up the nice quality writing, it’s rare to see a nice blog like this one today..

Hi, I know you primarily rescue horses and put them up for adoption but I was wondering if you had room and would be willing to take in a 4 month old kitten? He is the last of a litter of 7 that we actually bottle fed for 2 weeks after they lost their mother. We have been keeping him in our garage because we already have 2 cats and 2 dogs in the house. Its not fair to him to be locked up alone and we cant afford to keep feeding him much longer. If you could help that would be great!

    • avatar Lisa says:

Tanya I can’t make any promises I still have several cats here that I haven’t been able to place yet but let me contact a local spay/neuter clinic see what I can do.

Ive been on your website recently and got me to thinking. I am a member of the Georgesville community club . We have an annual fish fry every year and it is coming up on June 22nd and 23rd. We r looking for new venders and events. I wanted to present this idea to the other members about having a rescue unit on site to help find foster and forever homes for these horses and help raise awareness of what u do. I didnt know if u would do something like that what cost were involved on both sides of the arrangement and if u were interested and or available those dates. I just wanted to get some info first from u b 4 i present it to the club so i have answers and maybe know what im talking about. Lol. I live across the small rd from where the fish fry is and would allow u to use my front paddock to tie up or work with any animals brought . The paddock is only about 30- 40 feet from fish fry and venders. Any info u can give would be nice. Mail, message or text me 614-783-4642. Address is grove city ohio. But i believe map quest might be georgesville ohio. We r by darby creek park

    Hello!

My name is Julie, and I work for the Humane Society of Richland County in Mansfield, Ohio. We are holding our annual Strutt Your Mutt on Sept 8th and 9th from 8am-5pm. It’s a K9 festival, there is food vendors, raffles, a 5K walk/run with your dog, and TONS of other fun stuff. We are also working with Buckeye Dogs, and are doing the Dock Diving again this year. We had SO MUCH FUN with them last year! We are currently looking for rescues to help us educate the importance of spay/neuter, proper animal care, exotic animal care, etc. A booth at our Strutt Your Mutt for an approved 501c3 rescue organization if free. We are interested in having ALL of you join us, and are hoping that you can! Please reply and let me know if you are interested in being apart of our Strutt Your Mutt this year! All that is required for an approved 501c3 rescue is one of our vendor forms filled out.

    Thank you,
    Julie

Love the invite we are currently still working on getting our 501c3, hoping to have that sometime end of next year (due to the delay we are hearing about from the IRS).

Hello Kim we are currently finalizing but at this time it looks like all minis have been adopted. We do have a OTTB mare looking for a home if that would be of any interest!
